Welcome, Beach Bums!

There's nothing better then a day at the beach. Ok, well maybe there's something better, but you can't do that all day unless your name is Sting. This is a club for beach enthusiasts, big and small. For those who love nothing more then to spend a day lounging on the sand, basking in the sunshine, swimming in the ocean, as well as all the leisure activities intertwined. Whether your gig is fishing, beach volleyball, flinging the frisbee, beachfires, walking in the sand, running in the water, sitting with an umbrella overhead and a drink in hand, or just reading a book, get ready to join us in our quest for the Endless Summer.

With 15 prime weekends between Memorial day and Labor day, we're going to make the most of them. Meets will be Saturday's and Sunday's focused on the beaches of South Shore Long Island, emphasis on Robert Moses field 5. Structure will be in flux to reflect membership interest. Jersey Shore, Lake George or others are on the table.

What does Mutual Aide mean? Most of the better beaches are inaccessable w/out transportation. Most people who live in the city don't own cars. Members are strongly encouraged to carpool and ride share.
