Introduction: I am a retired entrepreneur who tries to get out on the water and surf as much as possible. I also enjoy mountain bike riding, gocarting, snowboarding and programming Ruby on Rails.
How much surfing experience do you have? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced): I have been surfing for about 4 years, so would probably be considered intermediate. I surf a longboard and am learning how to walk and get my toes up on the nose. I also enjoy teaching people how to surf.
Can you go surfing during the week, or only on weekends?: I prefer surfing during the week, since it is less crowded.
Where do you like to go surfing?: My favorite spot is 38th street. When the tide is low and waves are right, I also enjoy taking the long rides at Cowell's. Pleasure Point, The Hook, Sharks and Pacifica are also all right by me when the conditions are right.
Do you have a board and/or wetsuit?: Yes, I have quite a few boards and extra wetsuits, and I do share them. :-)
